Parulbala's 89th birthday falls on 26th November,2009. You all know how the birthdays of leading lights like matas and gurus are celebrated ...So ,how are you planning to celebrate this birthday of this

living goddess? I leave it to the eight bhai-bon champas and all other indirect and direct relations.
I am celebrating at Delhi by uploading here some photographs and videos , leaving write ups connecting them to the eight grand children and others. Though her grandchildren are very very busy UMYPies(young upwardly mobile professional), they must send me photographs, anecdotes, stories through email( for being uploaded to this site ) on this occasion.

Parulbala gets one more great granddaughter

Radhu has been blessed with an oti sulakshana daughter on 19 th July,09 at 12.55 hrs.The new born shares her birthday with Tultuli and Radhu

Raudhi and Suvesh da's extremely small, extremely pretty and extremely new baby- these were taken when she was four hours old and while she kept yawning and dreaming about only she knows what.I wish you guys were around.Some stories begin before they start- and when I saw my neice (whom I chose to call mrinalini) I thought of a day two years back when raudhi explained to me her take on marriage, life and how bibhu should have a sibling. -Shubu rani (youngest of all eight but now mashi to many :))

Thanks, Subu for sharing the snaps.. I agree the little one looks adorable. Also Thank heavens that Almightly was kind enough and listened to Radhu's prayers for a baby girl :-) Congratulations to Radhu, Subesh on their second parenthood and Bibhu for his younger sibling !!!! As Parulbala's sansar keeps growing, the gender imbalance seems to be continuing even in the 3rd generation in favour of the fairer sex ( 3:1, 6:2 and 6:2 so far in the third generation). Even though personally I would trade a baby daughter over a son any day !!! Regards, Tito

Mrinalini (has the name been finalised? keeping my fingers crossed) is one cute little thing. I love the fact that its a girl. What is bibhu's response to his baby sister? He now has the whole new responsibility of being the elder brother (he is the first elder brother in the family-added responsibility)
What is unique about all the pictures is that no men seem to be present (except for the photographer I am guessing)- where is the baby's grandfather, father, mama and brother?

Must say considering there are 365 (+1) days in a year- we have loads of coinciding birthday and two that missed the generation above by a day!

The youngest(as on date) but wise great grand daughter

Ankita , the youngest (as on date)of all great grandchildren as on date , was born and is being brought up on the 12 th floor of a tower in Gurgaon. So she understands the connotation of ‘high’.
- “Ankita, how is your ‘Mothers’ Pride’ ?
Ankita -“That was my Nursery School ; now I am in Scottish High”
- “ How ‘high’ is Scottish High?”
Ankita –“ It is not that ‘high’ . But the name is High”
Ankita remained inseparable bodily from her mother Debjani through an iron grip on the red salwar of her mother. Nature is preparing her to adapt to the fast changes in her environment ; she will see the world in 3000 AD when she will be almost of the age of her great grand parent with whom she is sitting here.

Great !!! Finally Meshomoshai has put together something that none of could.Let's all try to keep updated and stay connected. We need to add all the better halfs on there for older generation of the grandchildren.
