Parubala leaves for her heavenly abode: Long Live Parulbala

PARUL BALA  DEVI (21 NOV 1921  -  19 Nov 2014)

Breathed  her  last on 19 Nov,2014 at CJ-8 Salt  Lake,Kolkata, was bed ridden for last few years under unfaltering  full time care of   exemplary son and daughter-in-law Anup  and Sarala.
  A caring and ever affectionate daughter,wife,sister,mother,mother-in-law ,grandmother,great grandmother ... a  lively  link through  five  generations ...an  angel  for  maintaining continuity  of  human  values , culture  and tradition.. a living encyclopedia  with   photographic  memory  for  recalling  every  small  and  big  events during  last  90  years.... and  overall  a MOTHER for  large  number of family members,  and their friends to   give  mental shelter to whosoever came upon  her. Tears will dry up , but she will  live  in our hearts for ever.

Parulbala 's   granddaughter Radhu (Debaleena)M.Sc,M.Phil , who  has been  persuing   research  in  plant Molecular Biology at the  JNU, has  today  won  Doctorate Degree .

So  here is another  jewel in the crown  of Parulbalar  Sansar.

Parulbala's 90 th Birthday

 

আজ 26 th November,2010 ।    অতি  পুণ্যাত্মা  শ্র্রীমতী পারুল বালা রায় মোহদয়ার  নব্বই-তম জন্মদিন । তাঁর  সন্তান-সন্ততি, পুত্রবধূ-জামাতা ,নাতি-পুতি ,নাতজামাই, ভ্রাতা-ভগিনী (এবং তাঁদের সন্তান-সন্ততি, পুত্রবধূ-জামাতা ,নাতি-পুতি ,নাতজামাই).....সব  মিলিয়ে  শাখাপ্রশাখার সংখ্যা  পঞ্চাশেরও বেশী ।

এই দী্র্ঘ  নব্বই বছরে  তিনি ছয় পুরুষকে দেখেছেন দেখেছেন।কতো চরিত্র দেখেছেন !

এসো , আমরা সবাইই তাঁর সুস্থথ শতায়ু  কামনা করি ।
